Principal's Welcome

Welcome to San Benito High School -

Home of the Hollister Haybalers!

The mission of San Benito High School is to educate all students to their highest potential, so they will have the greatest range of personal options upon graduation.

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:

Welcome to San Benito High School.
I am thrilled to start my first year as Principal of this fantastic school. San Benito High School is one of the finest high schools I have had the privilege of being associated with and I want to encourage all students to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities SBHS offers. From BALER athletics, clubs and organizations, to world class academics - there is something here for everyone. Get involved in something... don't just fill a seat... be part of the action!

San Benito High is fortunate to have such an outstanding staff. Our teachers are competent in their field, they know how to teach, and most importantly, they enjoy seeing students fulfill their potential. All of our staff is here each day to fulfill the mission of San Benito High School, educating all students to their highest potential so they will have the greatest range of options upon graduation.

We believe it takes more than just good teachers to have an impact on our students. All staff members work collectively with parents to encourage, motivate and support our students. We believe every student needs to have a positive relationship with at least one adult on our campus. Whether that adult is a teacher, principal, coach, secretary, custodian, or cafeteria worker, it matters not. Together we will give all of our students the best possible chance for success.

I look forward to working with our students, staff and community to continue to make San Benito High School the best that it can be.

– Todd A. Dearden, M.Ed.
