BTSA/Induction State Surveys
Below, you will find the links for you to complete the BTSA/Induction State Survey. Both the TC's and SP's will need their BTSA state ID number to take the survey (You received you id upon completion of the consent form/sign-up, at the beginning of the year). If you do not have it, please see your program adviser.
At the end of the survey, click the "Submit Survey" button. This will record your responses with the state. Please do not forget this step.

2012 New Teacher Academy
I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new cohort of teachers for 2012. We are looking forward to working with each of you throughout the 2012-2013 school year. The New Teacher Academy will be held from July 30th to August 3rd in SBHS's Davis Library. More details will be sent to you soon. The New Teacher Support Program strives to assist teachers new to SBHS and/or new to the teaching profession through dedicated mentorship that will help guide a teacher through their first two years in the profession. Guidance, professional development opportunities, social events and much more will be available to each new teacher. I look forward to meeting each of you this July.

| •Meet minimum 1 hour each week •Document meeting focus, teacher needs, challenges, success & next steps on collaboration log •Work with administration, program advisor & department to provide support •Submit weekly lesson plans for the first semester to mentor and program advisor (if a new teacher to SBHS) •Attend New Teacher Meetings (if applicable) •Monthly observation by mentor and program advisor •Mentor & PT observe together twice (Fall & Spring) •Monthly Collaboration Logs submitted by the 5th of each month. |
