Gavilan College will start open registration for new students beginning Monday, 5/17. Prior to meeting with a counseling for advising assistance, though, they will be strictly enforcing our policy that students must complete an orientation session prior to meeting with a counselor for new student advising. In order to accommodate graduating seniors, they will be hosting two orientation sessions in at the Hollister Briggs Building:
- Tuesday, 4/27 4:00-7:00
- Tuesday, 5/4 4:00-7:00
Students may also complete the orientation online at: http://www.gavilan.edu/orientation.
They will also be offering a number of orientation sessions throughout the summer and they will send those times and dates to you as soon as they are confirmed. These sessions will be offered on the main Gilroy campus.
For those who've signed up for the Gavilan placement test this Thursday, April 15th, please rememeber that students must complete the online Gavilan application within 72 hours in order to be able to take the placement test.
