GRAD TRIP INFORMATION

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS ATTENDING THE

2015 GRAD TRIP

 

This memo contains important information for luggage check-in and pre-boarding procedures for the Grad Trip.

 

 

  • All seniors attending the Grad Trip will have to check-in their bags on Thursday, May 28, from

3:30 pm – 5:00 pm @ the Cafeteria.  Please note that you must check-in your bag within the time frame given.  No bags will be allowed on the trip after 5:00 pm.   

 

Once your bag is checked-in, school staff will conduct an inspection and line them up according to the bus you are riding on.  Once your bag is inspected, nothing else can be placed in it.  Your bags will remain in the Cafeteria, with hired security ensuring that they are not tampered with.  Any bag found with any form of intoxicant (alcohol, drugs, tobacco, etc.), any dangerous object or other smoking devices (e-cigarette, vapor pen, hookah pen) will result in the student not being allowed to attend the Grad Trip and being suspended from school. 

 

 

  • At 5:00 am (Friday, May 29), you are to meet at the Cafeteria.  We recommend that you eat breakfast and go to the restroom before going to the Cafeteria. 

 

Upon arrival you will line up outside the Cafeteria (signs will be posted).  You will first be searched, allowed to pick-up your bag, go directly (no exceptions) to your assigned bus, place your bag in the luggage compartments, and then board.  Please note that no bags will be allowed to be checked in at this time.

 

You should only show up, at 5:00 am, with whatever you are taking in your pockets (wallet, cell phone, iPod, etc.) and whatever snacks and drinks you are bringing for the trip.  Absolutely no unsealed liquid bottles/containers will be allowed.   Everything else (bag, pillow, blanket, etc) must be checked-in to the Cafeteria between 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 28th for inspection.          

 

  • On Saturday, May 30 @ approx. 9 am, you will be arriving back to school.  The buses will be dropping you off in the Baler Ally Parking Lot. 

 

Please remember that all outstanding detention hours must be served, and all book bills and fees must be paid before you can board the bus.
