Mike Schurig

Welcome to My Home Page

Hi!  I am the lead teacher for the Business/Computer Department of the Career Technical Education Division.  I am the Division Chair for the CTE Division, and am priviledged to work with an outstanding group of professionals in this division as well as my other wonderful colleagues at this school.  I am also one of the Technology Support Providors and on the Professional Development committee.

This is my 12th full year at San Benito High School, as well as 12th full year teaching.  I started teaching Spring of 2001 after I made a career change when I sold my business of 30 years and moved to Hollister from Littleton, Colorado.  I love teaching and working with youth, and look forward to every day here.

This is also my 8th year as a class advisor, and am proud to be the advisor for the Class of 2015, "The Best Class Ever".  This year's group of officers and students is a very energetic and enthusiastic bunch, and look forward to an excitiing year with them.  The class has been working on raising the funds needed for graduation and Senior Parents night.  We are excited for a great Freshman Reception and Finale Dance this year, plus our other fund raisers.
