Unite educators, students, parents and community toward the common goals of:
- Expecting academic excellence
- Increasing parent involvement and volunteerism among both English and non-English speakers
- Building community ownership in the school, its challenges, and its mission through thoughtful collaboration
- Promoting personal ownership and responsibility of education by students, staff, families and the entire community
- Valuing the clarity of process in education, discipline and communication
- Transforming the school through problem-solving principles
- Supporting the Baler Code qualities and characteristics

The Baler Compass is the Parent Teacher Student Organization that was started during the 2009-2010 school year.
The purpose of the newly formed organization is to:
And most importantly, our goal is to get more parents like YOU involved. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Room 366 (Mr. Schallhorn’s room). If you would like to come to one of our meetings before your student starts at San Benito High School, please feel free to come to our next meeting. The Baler Compass Board looks forward to meeting you!

Y con mayor importancia, nuestra meta es involucrar a más padres como UD. Nos reunimos el segundo martes del mes a las 7:00 p.m. en el salón 366 (El del Sr. Schallhorn). Si le gustaría asistir a una de nuestras juntas antes de que comience su hijo/a aquí en SBHS, tome la libertad de asistir nuestra siguiente junta que se realizará el martes. ¡La mesa directiva del grupo anticipa con placer conocer a Ud.!
